Service Agreement, Waiver & Refund Policy

Location: Private Cottage Property (Full address provided upon confirmed registration)
Retreat Dates: April 15th to 19th, 2026

By registering for and submitting payment toward this retreat, you (“Participant”) acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms:

1. Nature of the Retreat

This retreat includes Holy Fire® Reiki training and experiences, guided meditations, energy practices, somatic and nervous system-based exercises, group discussion, integration work, and meals and shared cottage accommodations (if applicable).

This retreat is educational and experiential in nature. It is not medical treatment, psychotherapy, counseling, or a substitute for licensed healthcare services.

Participation is voluntary.

2. Personal Responsibility & Health

By attending, you confirm that:

• You are physically and emotionally able to participate
• You take full responsibility for your wellbeing during the retreat
• You will disclose any relevant medical conditions, injuries, severe allergies, or mental health considerations that may impact your participation
• You will seek licensed medical or psychological care when appropriate

Energy work and somatic practices may bring emotional material to the surface. You agree to participate at your own pace and communicate if you require support or a break.

3. Substance-Free Environment

This retreat is intentionally held as a regulated, nervous-system-safe, substance-free container.

Participants agree to arrive and remain free from alcohol, cannabis, recreational drugs, or non-prescribed substances for the duration of the retreat.

Prescription medications must be used responsibly and as directed.

Participants who arrive under the influence or use prohibited substances during the retreat may be asked to leave immediately for the safety and integrity of the group. No refund will be issued in this circumstance.

4. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

Participation in this retreat may include:

• Emotional release
• Physical movement
• Group interaction
• Time spent outdoors and near water (if applicable)

You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release, waive, and hold harmless:

Brittany Schmidt and Brittany Schmidt Synergy Services Inc., including its directors, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, and agents

from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from or related to:

• Injury or illness
• Emotional distress
• Allergic reactions
• Property damage or loss
• Travel disruptions
• Acts of nature or unforeseen circumstances
• Participation in retreat activities

You acknowledge that you are responsible for your own participation and personal decisions.

5. Private Property & Conduct

This retreat is held at a private cottage residence.

By attending, you agree to:

• Respect the property, furnishings, and shared spaces
• Follow all safety instructions
• Conduct yourself respectfully toward other participants
• Refrain from unsafe, disruptive, or inappropriate behavior

Participants are financially responsible for any damage they cause to the property.

The host reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior compromises the safety, wellbeing, or experience of others. No refund will be issued in this circumstance.

6. Food & Allergies

Meals are prepared in a private kitchen and not in a commercial food facility.

While reasonable care is taken, an allergen-free environment cannot be guaranteed. Participants are responsible for disclosing severe allergies and managing their dietary needs accordingly.

7. Confidentiality

Participants agree to maintain confidentiality regarding personal stories and experiences shared during the retreat.

Recording sessions without permission is not permitted.

Photos or video may be taken for promotional purposes. Participants may opt out in writing prior to the retreat.

8. Payment Terms

Your space is reserved once payment (or an approved payment plan) is received.

Spaces are limited and non-transferable without written approval.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Due to the intimate nature of this retreat and advance expenses including food, materials, and accommodations:

All payments are non-refundable.

However:

30 or more days prior to the retreat
You may transfer your registration to another participant with written approval.

15–29 days prior to the retreat
You may receive a 50 percent credit toward a future offering valid for six months.

14 days or fewer prior to the retreat
No refunds or credits are available.

Failure to attend or early departure does not qualify for refund or credit.

Host Cancellation

If Brittany Schmidt or Brittany Schmidt Synergy Services Inc. must cancel the retreat due to emergency or unforeseen circumstances, a full refund of retreat tuition will be issued.

Travel expenses or additional personal costs are not reimbursable.

If the retreat must be postponed due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, payments will transfer to the rescheduled date.

9. Intellectual Property

All teachings, manuals, meditations, materials, and content shared during this retreat are the intellectual property of Brittany Schmidt and Brittany Schmidt Synergy Services Inc. and may not be recorded, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

10. Agreement

By registering and submitting payment, you confirm that:

• You have read and understood this agreement
• You voluntarily agree to these terms
• You assume full responsibility for your participation
